Jeff learned to sail at the New York Sailing School in 1976 and relocated to Los Angeles in 1977. He has sailed the Channel Islands and Catalina and now owns a Power Boat. Jeff joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Las Vegas in 1996 and transferred to Flotilla 12-04 in 2000. Besides serving as FSO-MA and FSO-PE, he is, currently, Past Flotilla Commander of 12-04 and holds additional staff positions at District levels. He is an ATON Verifier (AV), Marine Dealer Visitor (MDV) and Vessel Examiner (VE), and is AUXCOM and Boat Crew Certified.
