Love Ride - November 12, 2006:
Al Verdi, FC, and George Assali, FSO-VE attended Love Ride 23 at Lake Castaic on Nov 12, 2006. The event drew 25,000 motorcycle enthusiasts, many of whom are boaters. Verdi and Assali ran a PA booth all day, giving out literature and advising on Coast Guard and Auxiliary missions. Mike Lesley, FCe of 12-05 stopped by as he was on EMT duty at the park that day. We were extremely well received. The Flotilla booth is booked for Love Ride 24, next year.
